Inclusive Africa Conference 2026

Organized by inABLE, the Inclusive Africa Conference is Africa’s leading platform advancing digital accessibility, assistive technology, and inclusive innovation. The conference convenes governments, private sector leaders, multinational corporations, organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), innovators, and persons with lived experience to accelerate accessible digital solutions and shape inclusive policy frameworks across the continent. The 2026 conference will bring together over 300 in-person delegates and 1,500 virtual participants from more than 40 African countries, alongside live watch parties across 20 countries and showcases from 20 African accessibility and assistive technology innovators.

We are inviting passionate and committed individuals to join us as volunteers and be part of creating a accessible, inclusive, and impactful event experience.

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Conference Dates: 2nd – 4th June 2026

Event Venue: JW Marriott Hotel Nairobi, Westlands.

Engagement dates: 25th May 2026 – 5th June 2026

Scope of work

Volunteers will support various aspects of conference delivery, including:

  • Assisting with registration and guest management
  • Supporting session coordination and timekeeping
  • Guiding participants and ensuring accessible navigation within the venue
  • Providing general attendee support, including persons with disabilities
  • Supporting communication and information desks
  • Working alongside the team to ensure a smooth, inclusive experience for all

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking individuals who:

  • Are passionate about inclusion and social impact
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Can work well in a team and fast-paced environment
  • Are available for the full duration of the conference

Added Advantage

  • Experience in events, customer service, or community engagement
  • Interest or experience in disability inclusion
  • Basic understanding of accessibility needs
