Inclusive Africa Conference 2024

The fifth Inclusive Africa Conference will take place on May 14th to 16th, 2024 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Upperhill, Nairobi, Kenya. This year’s conference will be a hybrid event with 300 delegates attending in person and over 2000+ virtual attendees from across Africa and the globe. inABLE will be partnering with 20 leading disability organizations in Africa to host live watch parties with about 50 – 100 participants.
Since its inauguration in 2020, the conference’s purpose has been to promote digital inclusion for persons with disabilities in Africa. Over the years the conference has created a platform for persons with lived experiences, accessibility experts, policymakers, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, businesses, and governments to share knowledge and create awareness about the importance of leaving no one behind.
This year’s overarching theme is ‘Breaking Barriers; Advancing Digital Accessibility for a Disability Inclusive Future in Africa’. Additionally, the conference will feature the AT Village, where 20 innovators from across Africa will showcase their cutting-edge digital accessibility and assistive technology innovations.
InABLE extends an invitation for partnerships in hosting roundtable discussions, speaking engagements, sponsorships, and the opportunity to showcase inclusion initiatives. The conference discussions will cast a spotlight on pivotal topics such as fostering inclusive policies, mobile assistive technology, inclusive education, employment, accessible tourism, and more.
