inABLE has received partner support from eight disability organizations for the second Inclusive Africa Conference on September 30th from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, East African Time (EAT). The 2021 theme is Advancing Digital Accessibility and Assistive Technology Inclusion in Africa. The conference is sponsored by Google, Facebook, Safaricom PLC, FSD Kenya, Salesforce, and T-Mobile.

“By uniting together to advance digital accessibility in Africa, these organizations strengthen the conference’s reach and purpose. In addition, the conference brings together global accessibility leaders and regional experts to share best practices and brainstorm next steps that can accelerate improvements and advancements in assistive technology, accessibility, and inclusion in Africa,” explains inABLE Founder and Executive Director Irene Mbari-Kirika.

This second annual Inclusive Africa Conference has a dynamic speaker faculty who will explore global best practices to improve digital accessibility and inclusion in Education, Employment, Finances, and Mobile Assistive Technology.
