In rural and underserved communities across Kenya, people are often excluded from meaningful participation in the digital world. Limited access to computers, reliable internet, assistive technology, and digital skills training keeps education, employment, and economic opportunities out of reach. For people with disabilities in these communities, these barriers are even greater, deepening exclusion and further limiting their ability to participate fully in the digital economy.

About The Program

Since 2009, inABLE has been bringing technology closer to communities in rural Kenya through our Community Digital Hubs in Kang'aru, Kiambu County, and Isinya, Kajiado County. These hubs provide access to computers, internet, assistive technology, and practical digital skills training in safe, inclusive spaces.

We equip students, teachers, and youth, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with the tools and skills to participate, connect, learn, and thrive in an increasingly digital world.

Because access to technology should not depend on where you live, or whether you have a disability.
